No Moses next week, Reid to return from Injury, tough decisions for Bilic?
|
Moses cannot play next week against the team that he is on loan from. Is Zarate the natural replacement, however not sure whether Zarate and Jenkinson works we enough together.
Reid will probably be back from injury so should he start, to help combat Chelsea up front for Collins?
Would you bring back both Reid and Ogbonna and shift Tomkins to right back?
Wondering how Bilic will play it, personally I would love to use pace against Chelsea next week, their back four is suffering.

Antonio would seem to fit into the Moses role?

I would bring Obiang in for Moses and Reid for Collins. That's it for me.

Hoping Antonio gets his chance next week! Or he puts Lanzinui Payet on the wings and Obiang slots in the middle.

I would go Obiang to start to be a bit more solid and have Antonio on the bench for maybe a late run at them. I reckon Chelsea might go with a couple of defensive midfielders as well as a COMPLIMENT to us.
Mourinho will feel that the busted flush Terry needs protection.

FC he wasn't even on the bench yesterday was he?
I think Zarate will get the nod although Valencia wouldn't be a bad shout as he gives us the pace that Moses offers

Agree that pace is the way forward against Chelsea. Antonio for Moses, attack them.

So what if he wasn't on the bench, this is another game but I do agree, Obiang might be better to tighten things up a bit

Well if he thinks he's not good enough for the bench yesterday I can't imagine him starting him 7 days later......

Using that logic, he'll never get a game, Bilic isn't the type to pick a team by numbers, he'll look at the opposition and pick his team accordingly

I think Bilic will see Chelsea as they are, a team low on confidence but a wounded animal to be cautious of.
Maybe a flexible 4-4-2 with Valencia and Sakho reunited up front and Payet just behind them. Lanzini would be OK playing wider. Kouyate in the DMF role makes sense.
Song, Carroll, & Antonio on the bench gives him great options to switch it about if he needs to.
The great thing is now that the opposition have absolutely no idea how we'll set up, we don't even know, because we've got a myriad of options AND a manager who's not afraid to use them.

not at all players get injured suspended and lose form so I'm sure he'll get his opportunity but while we're playing so well I can't imagine him just chucking a player in like that All three subs yesterday had a impact like I said I think Zarate will deservedly get the nod and considered Valencia got in the bench sat I reckon he's further up the pecking order than Antonio as well and if he wants to go more like for like maybe he'll get the start

Norf, Moses can't play, Antonio would be a direct replacement, he's not a youth player with no experience, he's scored goals albeit in the championship, but like I said. Bilic might want to keep it tight and bring in Obiang
Anyway, we'll see

Still don't get why we paid £7million for Antonio to be honest.
